Lenox Gilded Tapestry Review

I don't think I have ever owned something so beautiful.  The Lenox Gilded Tapestry are stunning.  The design, the colors, the details, absolutely stunning.  I joked with my husband when I received them that they were too beautiful to even use.  I wanted to buy a hutch and display them instead of using them because they are like a piece of artwork.  We agreed that they are perfect for our most special occasions.

rich textile embroidery that speaks louder than words. Tapestry is found everyone and has even been seen in fasion on runways. This beautiful set from Lenox is Tapestry inspired and a treasure.

This color-rich floral pattern touched with gleaming copper and gold accents is from the L by Lenox collection, an affordable luxury collection of fine bone china made in the U.S.A. Timothy Carder was the designer of this luxurious floral motif. The description says, "Beautifully detailed flowers, leaves and vines in warm, coppery autumnal hues are uplifted by fields of cool blue or anchored by background tones of deep, dark chocolate. All are embellished with burnished gold."  Stunning.

One thing I love about this collection is that it is designed for layering.  It makes an impressive display on your table for any event.   The colors and patterns coordinate perfectly.  I have never been very good and finding the perfect colors and patterns to match, so I love finding a great set that does that work for me.  There are so many colors in this set that you can really make a different look each time you use it, just by changing  the color of napkins.  Lenox recommends changing from bright turquoise to deep copper or espresso.  I think this is a great set for the fall holidays.  We set it out for Thanksgiving and it looked perfect with our fall decorations.  Lenox gives this fun tip:  "For the ultimate layering effect: the host or hostess might incorporate a touch of tapestry into their outfit, bringing fashion and style together in a sweepingly romantic gesture."
